JB Chingay is a powerful symbol of unity among Johor’s five clans—Teochew, Hokkien, Hakka, Cantonese, and Hainan—who have come together for over 150 years to carry their deities through the streets of Johor Bahru. It is this spirit of togetherness that makes our heritage endure.
